About N-scale
关于N比例
Nゲージは、縮尺1/150(新幹線車両は1/160)サイズの鉄道模型です。レールの幅（軌間＝ゲージ）が９mmであることから、英語の９（Nine）の頭文字をとって"Ｎ（エヌ）ゲージ"と呼ばれています。
旅するNゲージは手軽なお土産、コレクションを目的とした１両のみの商品ですが、通常は列車の編成すべてを再現しており、モーター・動力機構も持ちます。これを、レールの上で走行させて、鉄道とその風景を丸ごと模型にしていきます。鉄道模型は、とても豊かで壮大な趣味であり、世界中で愛されています。
The scale of the N-scale is about 1/160.(Some Japanese trains are at 1/150) Its gauge is 9mm, and the letter N comes from the word Nine. The Unforgettable Journey with N-scale is a series designed for lightly collecting only one car such as the first car, but the regular products reproduced the whole unit of the train and have a have motor or power unit in it. By running the trains on the track, you can reproduce the train and its scenery, so railroad model is a hobby full of interests.
N比例铁道模型的比例通常为1/160（部分日本车辆的比例为1/150），因其轨距为9毫米，所以取英语单词9(Nine)的首字母“N”并命名为“N比例”。一款“N比例铁道之旅”系列产品只有一节车厢（通常是车头），可用于简单收藏，而普通产品则是还原了整个编组，同时还带有动力装置。通过让车辆在轨道上行驶，您可以将车辆本身和沿线的风景一同微缩成模型。所以，铁道模型是一个富有趣味性的兴趣爱好。

KATOは1965年に日本で初めてのNゲージ量産モデルを発売しました。Nゲージのパイオニアとして鉄道模型の製造・販売のみを事業とし、企画から製造まで全て日本で行っています。
鉄道模型の先進国である欧米ではHOゲージと呼ばれる1/87の大きなスケールが主流ですが、日本の住宅環境や長編成の列車の多さから、Nゲージの開発を決意。日本ではNゲージが主流となっています。
KATO is the first company to sell mass produced N-scale models in Japan in 1965. As the pioneer of N-scale, we have producing and selling railroad models as our only business, and all the process from planning to selling is done in Japan.
HO scale(1/87) is the major scale in most of the countries in the world. However, due to the limited space and that many trains in Japan have more cars, we decided to develop the N-scale. Nowadays, the N-scale has become a major scale in Japan.
KATO创立于1965年，同时也是在日本大量生产并发售N比例模型产品的第一个品牌。作为N比例的先驱，KATO将铁道模型的制造和销售作为唯一业务，并在日本国内完成从策划到制造的全部内容。
HO比例（1/87）在大多数国家都是铁道模型的主流比例，但是考虑到日本的居住空间较小、长编组列车较多等情况，我们决定开发N比例。如今，N比例已在日本成为铁道模型的主流比例。
